![]() I have looked all over the web before asking here but has anybody found a Mac SSTV program that will integrate with Smartsdr Mac If so, which program and if you dont mind a pointer to a link to get it to be used with Smartsdr would be great. VFO and S meter read automatically, 3D maps, CW keyer, instant dupe check, packet cluster spots and click - instant QSY - you are there. Ive got a used 6500 on the way and have downloaded Smartsdr Mac. SkookumLogger requires a K1EL WinKeyer or a YCCC SO2R Box to send CW. This program puts more fun back into your hobby. It runs on MacOS, supporting single-mode and and mixed-mode events on 13 bands between 160m and 23cm. The project needs some more finishing touches before I can release it (especially writing the setup guide) but I wanted to give a little video teaser for the project (to see if there is interest). SkookumLogger is a full-featured contest logging program suitable for the most demanding contester. And the Mac has low latency MIDI “on board”. What has sparked my interest is that the USB interface on these controllers can be configured to show up as a MIDI interface on the computer. And I discovered the Teensy family of micro controllers ( ). Maybe I was to lazy to build that simple interface so I looked for another solution. #Macloggerdx keyer serialThere is a similar project for Windows computers from Matt, NQ6N ( ) which uses a serial port for the keyer interface. More thoughts went into interfacing the key or a keyer (like a Winkeyer) to the Mac computer. Providing a low latency local sidetone to the operator.Ĭommunicating with the radio was the easier part of the project.I had a problem getting MacLoggerDX to recognize my K3/P3 and I sent an email to DogPark Software at 11am on a Sunday morning. #Macloggerdx keyer upgradeIf you have a Mac, this is the program for your operating activities: WM2F Rating: Upgrade Issue. Connecting a key (straight key or paddle) or an external keyer remotely to the radio I have wkusb keyer connected as well and it is very smooth and easy to use.But the API commands and features the Maestro uses for its CW operation are there and I decided to use them in a client application for the Mac called xKEY, a Remote Keying Interface. I really want to operate CW again…īut there are no good solutions for remote CW for the Flex if you don’t want to restrict yourself to CWX. But the prospect of going nearly 100% FT8 again like the time before was really not exciting. #Macloggerdx keyer updateToday I want to write about my latest project, a Remote Keying Interface for the Flex 6000 series radios running on macOS.Īfter having the radio with me for a year now to update xCAT and xDAX for multiFLEX and not being able to operate (no antennas here) I want to bring the radio to its remote location as soon as possible and start operating again. Mario, D元LSM has announced xKEY – Remote Keying Interface for the Flex. This app runs Winkeyer like a standalone keyer with messages and easy configuration To change the com port, run QDconfig.exe which can be found in ProgramFilesQD Keyer Click here to download the QDkeyer setup file If you have written a Winkeyer application that you would like to share, please let us know, we can post it here. ![]()
